A Management of Novice Alchemist anime trailer PV was released, revealing the artists of the OP and ED theme songs.
Management of Novice Alchemist is set to premiere in October 2022. The anime was first announced back in September 2021. In April 2022, it released its first trailer PV with information on the main staff and cast.
The new trailer gives us a glimpse into the adventurous life of Sarasa and introduces us to the main cast of characters. The trailer also reveals the artists of the OP and ED theme songs and previews the OP theme song.
The OP theme song of the anime is “Hajimaru Welcome” (Starting Welcome) by Aguri Onishi. The ED theme song “Fine Days” by Nanaka Suwa.

Cast and staff
The main cast of the anime includes:
- Kanon Takao (Latina in If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord) as Sarasa Ride
- Hina Kino (Hanako Honda in Asobi Asobase: Workshop of Fun) as Lorea
- Saori Onishi (Ais Wallenstein in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) as Iris Lotze
- Nanaka Suwa (Kanan Matsura in Love Live! Sunshine!!) as Kate Starven
Hiroshi Ikehata (best known for directing TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You) is directing the anime at Studio ENGI. Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombieland Saga) is in charge of the series scripts. Yosuke Ito is designing the characters and also serving as the Chief Animation Director. Harumi Fuuki is composing the music.

Management of Novice Alchemist or Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei anime is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Mizuho Itsuki and illustrated by Fuumi.
The novel was first serialized online in November 2018 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro and was later acquired by Fujimi Shobo.
A manga adaptation with art by kirero has been serialized online on the Comic Valkyrie website since December 2020. It has been collected in two tankōbon volumes.
Management of Novice Alchemist follows the adventures of Sarasa, whose teacher gifted her an alchemy store in a remote village after she graduated from the Royal Alchemist Academy. We follow Sarasa’s life as an alchemist as she manages her alchemy store.
