About the My Master Has No Tail manga series
The My Master Has No Tail (うちの師匠はしっぽがない, Uchi no Shishō wa Shippo ga Nai) TV anime is based on the eponymous manga series by TNSK. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon magazine since January 2019. As of June 2022, the individual chapters have been collected into eight tankōbon volumes.
The plot follows a young tanuki named Mameda, who heads to Osaka. Before setting out, she promises her family she won’t turn into a human or interact with humans whatsoever.
However, the moment she arrives, she shapeshifts into a human, and so her adventures (and misadventures) begin.
