The Great Berserk Exhibition — 32 years of Kentaro Miura’s art career — Sapporo Edition announced

Fans of the late Kentaro Miura will have an opportunity to view his phenomenal artwork at The Great Berserk Exhibition. The exhibition will take place in the City of Sapporo and receive official support from the Hokkaido Government. And is organized by the Television Hokkaido Broadcasting Co., LTD. in cooperation with The Great Berserk Exhibition Executive Committee, brain., LTD, and DoshinBunkaJigyosya CO., LTD.

The exhibition will commence on January 14, 2023, and end on February 12, 2023. Operating hours during weekdays: 11 am – 6 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: 10 am – 7 pm. And the address for the venue: Sapporo Factory Article 3, building 3F, 4, Kita-2-johigashi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo-shi. 

Expect to pay 1,500 yen (approximately US$11,20) for an advance ticket or 1,600 yen (about US$12) for a same-day ticket. Fans may also book tickets with commemorative goods, such as a Dragon Koroshi paper knife for an additional cost of 3,200 yen (US$24) and a Puck zipper bite for an additional 1,000 yen (US$7,45).

What to expect at The Great Berserk Exhibition

Those lucky enough to visit this exhibition will have much to see here. It will feature a wide variety of original drawings and handwritten manuscripts by Kentaro Miura. Moreover, expect exhibits of valuable statues created by Kenshin Prime 1 Studio and dioramas made exclusively for this event.

And thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign, there will also be a full-size statue of Zodd — a key rival of Guts. Another notable spectacle that fans will want to check out includes a reproduction of Kentaro Miura’s workshop. Here, fans can check out an interview video and also view rough sketches of works outside of the Berserk series.

Like all good events, The Great Berserk Exhibition will offer fans the opportunity to purchase goods based on the series. Not only that, there will be an impressively diverse range of merchandise available for purchase in all price brackets.

These will include accessories, acrylic stands, apparel, fashion goods, food, illustration books, pin badges, stickers, stuffed toys, original prints, and other miscellaneous goods. With so much available, the temptation to spend will be huge, but probably worthwhile for hardcore Berserk fans.
