About the Play it Cool, Guys manga series

Play it Cool, Guys (クールドジ男子, Cool Doji Danshi) is based on the eponymous web manga by Kokone Nata.

Originally, Cool Doji Danshi comprised a series of illustrations published on mangaka Nata’s Twitter in 2018. However, since they proved to be rather popular, Nata decided to turn them into a full-fledged manga series featuring the original characters that debuted via her Twitter account.

The Play it Cool, Guys manga series has been serialized on the Pixiv website since February 2019. To date, Square Enix has released four tankōbon volumes under its Gangan Comics Pixiv imprint.

Yen Press has licensed the series for an English-language release in North America and worldwide since a digital version has also been made available in addition to the trade paperback.

Play it Cool, Guys inspired a novel adaptation by Shino Kaida in 2020. Titled “Cool Doji Danshi: Connect It Cool, Guys,” the novel was also published by Square Enix.
