Earlier this year, the first trailer PV announced that The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye movie release date was on September 9, 2022. Since then, the project has released additional promotional videos, images, and information regarding the film. This second trailer seems to give us a deeper look at the film’s two main characters and the obstacles they will encounter.
The movie will be produced by studio CLAP and directed by Tomohisa Taguchi, who previously directed movies like Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna and Persona 3 The Movie: No. 4, Winter of Rebirth.

Having recently heard a rumor about how the laws of time and space do not work the same in the Urashima Tunnel, he finds himself curiously staring into the tunnel while thinking of his deceased sister.
When a transfer student named Anzu Hanaki offers to help him explore the mysteries of the tunnel, he can’t help but wonder what it may cost him when everything is said and done.

What voice actors will be in the film?
A movie like this is bound to have some stunning actors and actresses. It seems for this film, several cast members have numerous live-action roles under their belts.
Playing Kaoru Tono, the film’s main character will be Ouji Suzuka. He is known for his work in Horimiya, as well as several dramas.
Marie Iitoyo will play Anzu Hanaki, the transfer student helping Kaoru. In the past, she has voiced characters in the City Hunter Movie, as well as dubbed for the Japanese release of films such as Detective Pikachu.
Playing Kaoru’s sister, Karen Tono, will be Seiran Kobayashi. She has had roles in Star Wars: Visions and My Hero Academia.
